1. Overview

ARMOURBUY is operated by Simverse Sdn. Bhd. ("we", "us", or "our") from Malaysia. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect personal data when you visit our website, communicate with us, place an order, request a custom product, or otherwise use our services. Our store is hosted by Shopify, which processes data to provide the ecommerce platform and related services.

2. Personal Data We Collect

  • Identity and contact data: name, email address, telephone number, billing and delivery address, and account details.
  • Order and customization data: products purchased, order history, measurements, design preferences, customization instructions, delivery details, returns, support records, and correspondence.
  • Payment and transaction data: payment status, currency, transaction identifiers, billing details, and fraud-screening results. Full payment-card data is generally handled by Shopify and payment providers rather than stored by us.
  • Device and usage data: IP address, browser, device identifiers, pages viewed, referring pages, approximate location, cookie identifiers, and interactions with our website and messages.
  • Marketing and preference data: subscription choices, language, product interests, survey responses, and communication preferences.

3. How We Collect Data

We collect data directly from you, automatically through cookies and similar technologies, and from service providers such as Shopify, payment processors, shipping carriers, fraud-prevention providers, analytics providers, and advertising platforms. We may also receive information when you interact with our social-media pages or other third-party services.

4. How We Use Data

  • To create and manage accounts; process payments, orders, custom specifications, deliveries, returns, and refunds;
  • To communicate about orders, respond to questions, provide support, and keep records of customer instructions;
  • To operate, secure, troubleshoot, analyze, and improve our website, products, services, and customer experience;
  • To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, security incidents, prohibited transactions, and violations of our terms;
  • To comply with tax, accounting, customs, consumer-protection, law-enforcement, and other legal obligations; and
  • To send marketing communications where permitted by law and consistent with your choices.

Some data is necessary to enter into or perform a contract with you. If required order or delivery information is not provided, we may be unable to supply the requested product or service.

5. How We Disclose Data

We may disclose personal data to Shopify; payment processors; banks; shipping, logistics, warehousing, customs, repair, and production partners; IT, hosting, security, analytics, customer-support, and marketing providers; professional advisers and insurers; regulators, courts, customs authorities, and law-enforcement bodies where required; and parties involved in a merger, financing, restructuring, or sale of all or part of our business. Service providers are permitted to process data only for the services they provide and subject to applicable obligations.

6. Cookies and Similar Technologies

Shopify and our service providers use cookies, pixels, local storage, and similar technologies to keep the site functional, remember preferences and carts, provide security, measure performance, understand usage, and support advertising where enabled. You can manage non-essential cookie choices through any consent tool displayed on the site and through your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may affect site functions. Where required, non-essential cookies are used only after consent.

7. Marketing

You may unsubscribe from marketing emails by using the unsubscribe link or contacting us. You may still receive non-marketing messages concerning transactions, service, security, or legal matters. Advertising choices available through your device, browser, or platform also apply.

8. International Transfers

We operate from Malaysia, while Shopify and other providers may process or store data in other countries. Those countries may have different data-protection laws. Where required, we use contractual, organizational, and other appropriate safeguards for international transfers and require providers to protect personal data in accordance with applicable law.

9. Data Retention

We retain personal data for as long as reasonably necessary to provide services, maintain transaction and customization records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, prevent fraud, and meet tax, accounting, customs, and other legal requirements. Retention periods vary by the type of record and legal obligation. When data is no longer required, we delete or anonymize it where reasonably practicable.

10. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal data, including access controls and reputable service providers. No transmission or storage method is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please protect your account credentials and contact us if you suspect unauthorized activity.

11. Your Rights and Choices

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to or correction of your personal data, withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, object to or limit certain uses, opt out of direct marketing, and ask questions or make a complaint about our handling of your data. We may need to verify your identity and may retain information where required or permitted by law. To exercise a right, email hoopuhe@gmail.com.

12. Children's Privacy

Our store is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children without authorization from a parent or legal guardian. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal data improperly.

13. Third-Party Links

Our website may link to third-party websites or services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own notices, and we are not responsible for their content or practices.

14. Changes

We may update this policy to reflect operational, legal, or regulatory changes. The revised version will be posted here with a new effective date. Where required, we will provide additional notice or request consent.
