Oda Nobunaga Samurai Armor — Silver and Gilt, Full Life-Size Set

Oda Nobunaga broke the Sengoku period open. He was the first of the three unifiers, he destroyed institutions that had stood for centuries, and he was betrayed and killed at Honnō-ji in 1582 with the country roughly a third conquered. Everything Hideyoshi and Ieyasu built afterwards stood on what he had already torn down.

He also dressed like a man who did not care what anyone thought. He wore Portuguese capes, he adopted firearms when established houses dismissed them, and his armor mixed imported plate forms with Japanese lacing.

This is the premium configuration: a silver-toned cuirass with heavy gilt edging at the shoulders and skirt, black lacquered plate elsewhere, and a tall forked crest. It is the most visually complex Nobunaga set we carry.
