The ō-yoroi silhouette is defined by its broad shoulder guards, box-like cuirass, and layered skirt panels, giving it a ceremonial presence distinct from later armor styles.
This set is associated with the Tokugawa house, finished in dark lacquer with gilt fittings and dense multicoloured lacing across the entire body.
